Working with Verometal

The VeroMetal® two-day training program offers a comprehensive, hands-on experience designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge needed for the successful application and finishing of metal coating products. This training is aimed at professionals looking to deepen their expertise in surface preparation, spraying techniques, and post-processing for a high-quality metallic finish.

Day 1: Introduction and Core Techniques The first day begins with an introduction to the tools, safety procedures, and preparation of samples. Participants will learn about the proper setup and maintenance of spray equipment, including information on air caps, nozzles, and other key components. After the initial session, the focus shifts to practical skills such as manual polishing using Scotch-Brite and steel wool on various objects. This is followed by pre-treatment of flat MDF surfaces, spraying practice, and an introduction to basic finishing techniques. The day concludes with a session for clean-up and an opportunity for participants to ask questions.

Day 2: Advanced Application and Finishing The second day builds on the foundational skills learned on Day 1, focusing on advanced pre-treatment and spraying techniques for various objects. The training also covers working with patinas and polishing with felt wheels to achieve specific finishes. Participants will refine their skills in sanding and polishing flat MDF surfaces and will practice final finishing touches on different objects. The afternoon session includes a focus on polishing flat surfaces and further refinements, followed by a Q&A session and completion of evaluation forms.
